The Lake Country Chiefs understand that circumstances can change and that players may be unable to participate in the season as planned. Our goal is to be fair to families while also protecting the financial commitments of the program, which relies on registration fees to cover equipment, league costs, field rentals, insurance, and operational expenses. Eligibility for a Refund Refunds may be issued when a player is unable to participate due to circumstances such as: * The athlete decides not to play before the season begins * The athlete is injured early in the season and is medically unable to participate * The athlete is unable to continue due to illness, relocation, or other significant circumstances * Situations where the player participates in no more than 10% of the season All refund requests must include a brief explanation of the situation. Medical-related refunds may require documentation (e.g., a note from a physician). Refund Schedule Before Practices Begin: Full refund minus applicable processing fees. After Practices Begin but Before the First Game: Partial refund (typically 50% of the registration fee). Amount adjusted based on equipment costs and operational expenses already incurred. After the First Game or Once 10%+ of the Season Has Passed: (Refunds are generally not issued, except in cases of): * Verified medical injury preventing participation * Family relocation * Exceptional circumstances reviewed by the Board Non-Refundable Items Certain costs cannot be refunded once ordered or issued: * Personalized jerseys or apparel * Equipment that has been used * Credit card or online processing fees How to Request a Refund To request a refund, please email: lccyouthfootball@gmail.com Include: 1. Player’s name 2. Parent/guardian name 3. Reason for refund request 4. Supporting documentation (if applicable) Refunds may take up to 14 days to process Board Discretion: The Lake Country Chiefs Board reserves the right to: * Review all refund requests * Determine refund amounts based on timing, circumstances, and expenses already incurred Our goal is always to be fair, reasonable, and supportive of our families.
